Basic Information
This section of the site is desgined to help visitors understand the terminology of this website. Here, these sections describe particular things used throughout the site; it is recommended that you read all articles here before reading other sections.
Dragon Colors
"The following are some of the colors that dragons have been drawn or written in as. Note that all the information here is stereotypical and is based on what the vast majority of author's and painter's ideas of the color. So, this is not an all-encompassing color chart."

"Over time, I have noticed a strange connection between famous dragons of one mythology and that of another. Here I plan to compare them for further theories and research."

"Many have asked me, 'What are anthropomorphic dragons?' and the like. They also ask my why this 'dragon type' is not in the dragon types section. While I admit, it could be, I do not feel they fit well in here. This page will be completely dedicated to the modernization of dragons, and how they have changed."

Origin of Dragon Myths
"It would be entirely unfair to say that there is one true origin of dragon myths. Given the shear amount of stories told about dragons, it is impossible to pin point that one root from which those dragons grew. Of course, this is because not all dragon myths share the same origin. Here, some theories and beliefs on dragon myths will be explored."
Origin of the Word "Dragon"
"The word that translates from some languages to the word 'dragon' in English don't necessarily mean the same thing. In some languages, such as Greek, the word refers to serpents. Here, the origin of the word 'dragon', and it's meaning in other languages is reviewed."
Religion and Dragons
"Religions have had a big impact upon dragons and dragons have had a big impact upon religion. Why is it that I have to mention this? Well, in order to understand people's view of dragons, people must understand the people's view of other things...their culture."
